Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR)

The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR) is a national grant agency established to support applied research, experimental development and innovation. Its main objective is to support research activities that have the potential for application in industry and contribute to the technological development and competitiveness of the Czech economy.

TAČR provides funding for projects aimed at the development of new technologies, products and services that can find application on the market. The Agency also supports cooperation between research institutions and industrial enterprises, thus contributing to the transfer of knowledge and technology into practice.

The main programmes of the TAČR include, for example, the Applied Research and Experimental Development Programme, the Programme for Supporting Cooperation in Research and Development (ERA-NET), and the Programme for Supporting the Introduction of Research and Development Results into Practice. TAČR is also active at international level and participates in European research initiatives and projects.

The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic plays a key role in supporting the innovation ecosystem in the Czech Republic and contributes to the long-term sustainable growth and development of the Czech economy.

Mapping the regional distribution of the Czech Republic

The aim is to create a regionalization of the territory in the form of a regional typology of the entire Czech Republic (map & database) in terms of landscape vulnerability and the urgency of implementing adaptation measures in the landscape.

The project focuses on comlex evaluation and optimization of the structure of windbreaks as effective measures to climate development with a higher drought frequency and critical wind speeds.
