Advanced methods of evaluation and design of multifunctional windbreaks
The main objective of the research will be to evaluate the potential of small water reservoirs (SWR) in the landscape as adaptation measures by designing new and renewing original SWR and other water bodies.

Objectives
The project focuses on the issue of increasing the catchment retention – increasing the ability of the landscape to retain water on the basis of the design and implementation of adaptation measures in the form of SWR as part of system nature-related conservation measures. The project aims on the integration of new data tools and technologies – eco-innovation – focused at identifying suitable areas for the realization of SWR based on remote sensing satellite data and their evaluation.
