What is 3-30-300 Vision?

3-30-300 Vision is a decision support module built on the 3-30-300 framework. While the standard analysis evaluates the current state, Vision identifies optimal locations for new trees to improve compliance and maximize benefit.

We start with a full 3-30-300 assessment at building level:

Which buildings see at least three large trees

Which neighborhoods reach 30 percent canopy cover

Which buildings have access to green space within 300 meters

How 3-30-300 Vision works?

The area is divided into a grid to provide a strategic overview. We then apply a scoring logic:

Identify buildings that do not meet rule 3

Detect grid cells visible from a high number of underserved buildings

Identify grid cells with low tree density or no trees

Score potential planting locations based on how many red buildings would benefit

Simulate tree placement and recompute compliance

The result is a prioritized investment plan.
